Hydrating Facial Moisturizer

I love all the light scents of the facial moisturizers. This one is particularly refreshing. It goes on smooth and it soaks in right away with a light non-greasy feel. This specific face lotion is my absolute fave! Been buying refresh botanicals for 15+ years, and they’re my favourite face products!

This moisturizer is natural, which is what drew me in. I find that it smells refreshing, like real cucumber (even though I'm not the biggest fan of it). It is fairly hydrating but I was expecting it to be more intense than it is. I think I prefer their brightening moisturizer, purely due to smell and it being almost as hydrating.

I was extremely excited to try this product after reading the other reviews and seeing all of the amazing ingredients it contains. I have acne-prone skin, combination skin, and I also have eczema between my jaw bone & cheek bones...so I have a lot of crap going on to try and balance out! When I first tried this moisturizer I used two pumps assuming I would need it, but I realized that I really only needed half of one pump because a little product really goes a long way! I'm not a fan of the smell of cucumber, but that's a very minor thing to look past when you're dealing with such an amazing product. This product was very lightweight and absorbed into my skin very quickly. It's proved to be a great base for underneath makeup which is always a concern of mine with moisturizers. This is only my first day using it so I can't explain my results and feelings after using it for a few weeks, but if there's any negatives that come up I will update this post! This product is definitely worth 5 stars and I'd even rate it a bonus star for being affordable.

I seen some review that was complaining about the scent of this product. I just have to say, if you are expecting a fake cucumber scent like the 90's bath and body work's spray, you won't find it here. This smells like real cucumbers because it uses real ingredients. The smell might not be for everyone! I personally like the smell and you can only really smell it while applying it. I find this makes my skin super soft and I am happy with this product. My only complaint is that it makes my face feel greasy but I am unsure if it is the actual product or if my skin is just extra oily lately because its been a very hot summer. Theres a very good amount of product, it should last you quite a while since you don't need a lot to cover your whole face.
